The Community Based Education (CBE) program consists of our individuals participating in instructional activities within their community. This program helps our individuals generalize the skills learned within the classroom to real life situations. Research indicates that our individuals benefit from functional, hands-on instruction in meaningful life skills with in the natural setting where those skills are typically used. CBE trips take place daily, Monday thru Thursday.

Our CBE program has visited shopping malls, the Metro Mover, American Airlines Arena, Top Brass Farm, Fairchild Tropical Garden, Wings Over Miami, Radio Station, NOAA, Florida International University, Art Museum, Bird Bowl, Good Times Group Home, Publix Supermarkets, Humane Society, Marine Center, Miami International Airport, Gold Coast Museum, and many more.
